Créée par Alexandre Athané & Josselin Delphin, THE SINGING PLANT COMPANY vous propose la création, conception, fabrication et réalisation de génériques de films, effets visuels, animation 2D, illustrations, dessins, et bien plus...
Alexandre Athané est réalisateur, animateur et illustrateur. Il a travaillé à Paris, New York et Londres, principalement.

Il a réalisé les bandes annonces du JOUR LE PLUS COURT (Easy Tiger/CNC), des clips pour Universal Music, des publicités pour Converse USA...
Ses illustrations ont été publiées dans les magazines (Nova, Quo, Mixer, Max, Mixmag, Pride, The Hollywood Reporter...), utilisées pour le cinéma (AMISTAD de Steven Spielberg, FINDING FORRESTER de Gus Van Sant, GOOSED avec Jennifer Tilly...) et les maisons de disques (Sony Music, Rhino Records...) ou encore sur des devantures de boutiques (Metaluna Store Paris), et vitrines (Sandrine Bourg Modiste)...
Il a réalisé en 2007 son premier court métrage, ZOE MELODY (Dharamsala), en animation traditionnelle (plus de 10.000 dessins faits main) dont la musique est signée Marco Prince, leader du célèbre groupe funk FFF.
En 2015, il signe son deuxième court-métrage L'ESPACE D'UN INSTANT (Suerte Productions / 120 Prods / The Singing Plant Company) qu'il a réalisé, dessiné, animé et mis en couleur à la main, image par image. Sur un scénario de Vincent Cappello, le film invite la voix de Pierre Richard et une musique originale d'Alex Beaupain. Le film à récolté de nombreuses récompenses en France et à l'étranger.
Alexandre vient de terminer JUS D'ORANGE, son nouveau court-métrage qu'il a dessiné et réalisé, co écrit avec Chloé Célérien, produit par Nolita, en coproduction avec Animoon et The Singing Plant Company, avec les voix de José Garcia, Charlie Bos et La Big Bertha. Le film va commencer sa vie en festival et sera diffusé sur France Television et Gulli.

Alexandre Athané is a director, animator and illustrator who has worked primarily in Paris, New York and London.

He directed the short commercial ads for the CNC's event of LE JOUR LE PLUS COURT (Easy Tiger/CNC), music videos for Universal Music, commercials for Converse USA
As an illustrator, his work has been seen in films (Steven Spielberg's AMISTAD, Gus Van Sant's FINDING FORRESTER, GOOSED with Jennifer Tilly & Joan Rivers...), on record labels (Sony Music, Rhino Records...), in numerous magazines (Nova, Quo, Mixer, Max, Mixmag, Pride, The Hollywood Reporter...) and on Paris storefronts and shop windows (Metaluna Store Paris, Sandrine Bourg Millinery Paris...).
In 2007 he made his first short film, ZOE MELODY (Dharamsala), using traditional animation and hand-drawing over 10,000 images, and an original score by Marco Prince and from the funky French band FFF.
In 2015 Alexandre completed his second short film, A SPACE IN TIME (L'ESPACE D'UN INSTANT) (Suerte Productions / 120 Prods / The Singing Plant Company) from a screenplay by Vincent Cappello, with the beloved French actor Pierre Richard and original music by Alex Beaupain. For this film, Alexandre illustrated, animated and hand colored each drawing, frame by frame. The film went on to win numerous awards around the globe.
Alexandre has just finished JUS D'ORANGE, his new animated short film he drew and directed, cowritten with Chloé Célérien, produced by Nolita, in co-production with Animoon and The Singing Plant Company, with the voices of José Garcia, Charlie Bos and La Big Bertha. The film will begin its life at festivals and will be broadcast on France Television and Gulli.
